Ada Agnes Van Meter

Ada Agnes Van Meter, a resident of Mariposa, died Friday in Fresno. She was 94.

She was born Feb. 7, 1907, in San Bernardino. She was a charter member of the John C. Fremont Hospital Volunteers and a member of the Native Daughters of America.

Survivors include her son, Don Van Meter of Mariposa; one grandchild, four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be today at 2 p.m. at the Mariposa Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the Native Daughters of the Golden West - Mariposa.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mariposa Funeral Home.
