Adeline Van Meter

Adeline, 82, passed away December 5, 1994. She was born to Tobe B. Ford and Mary Acenith Wright on February 10, 1912 in Gage, Ok. She was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Oklahoma Retired Citizens Travel Club, and the Life Member Club of the Telephone Pioneers. She was preceded in death by husband, William O. and a sister, Patricia Ann Kraft. She is survived by sister Irene Swink of OKC and a brother Kenneth Ford of Irving, Tx.; also 4 nephews, Richard and Harold Swink of OKC, Harry Kraft of Woodward and Randy Ford of Tucson, Az. and 6 nieces, Norma Reid of OKC, Barbara Betts of Brentwood, Tn., Peggy Mantheiy of Dallas, Shirley Bridenstein of Tyrone, Ok., Loretta Utterback of Alva, Ok. and Jayne Wychoff of Sapulpa, Ok.; and a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Wesley U.M.C. or O.M.R.F. to further the study of heart disease. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 1994 in the Guardian West Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
