Alba VanMeter

VANMETER, ALBA, 90, of South Pasadena, died Sunday (Nov. 2, 2003) at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. She was born in Providence, R.I., and moved to the area in 1985 from Plymouth, Mich. She was a homemaker and LPN. She was a member of Church by the Sea, Madeira Beach. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post, Plymouth. She was also active in the Florida Orchestra Guild, a square dancer, and a tennis and bridge player. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Robert; two sons, Robert A., Wellington, and James R., Silt, Colo.; a daughter, Roberta Blackwell, Baltimore; and two grandchildren. Moss-Feaster Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Serenity Gardens Chapel, Largo.
