Ann T. Van Meter

HAUBSTADT, Ind. -- Ann T. Van Meter, 62, formerly of Evansville, died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday at Gibson General Hospital of natural causes.

She was a cook at Bob's Catering.

She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and was Catholic Coordinator for Raintree Girl Scouts Council.

Surviving are her husband, Jack; five daughters, Cindy Kerchief of Boonville, Cheri Gerkin of Vincennes and Connie Baehl, Carrie Falkenstein and Christa Van Meter, all of Evansville; four sons, Steve, Scott and Stuart, all of Evansville, and Spencer of Fort Branch; a sister, Alma McKeethan of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; two brothers, David Wagner of Evansville and Larry Wagner of St. Joseph, Mich.; 23 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Evansville.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel in Evansville, where memorial services will be at 7 p.m., and from 9:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the church in Haubstadt.

Memorial contributions may be made to Raintree Girl Scout Council.
