BETTIE JEAN VAN METER 

VAN METER, BETTIE JEAN, 72 years, passed away January 11, 2003 in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Van Meter, a native of Dallas was predeceased in death by her husband, John E. Van Meter and her parents, James and Lila Holson. She is survived by her son, John Van Meter and wife La Ray, brother, Donald Holson and wife Joann, sisters, Reva Knight and husband T.C., Neva Yoder and husband Bob, Tommie Deaver, grandchild, Ryan Wilhelm and numerous loving nieces, nephews, grand niece and friends. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at Sparkman-Hillcrest Cemetery, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX. In lieu of floral tributes, the family has suggested memorials be sent to Nursing Home Ministries of Texas at (281) 350-3526.
