Betty L. (Clark) VanMeter, age 77, Saturday, February 17, 2001, Riverside Methodist Hospital. Retired employee O.S.U. Alumni House. Resident of Melbourne Village. Preceded in death by husband William. Survived by children Evelyn Morris, Mt. Sterling, Carolyn "Susie" (David) Matteson, Wellston, Beverly Garwick, Columbus, Richard (April) Clark, Columbus; David (Cindy) VanMeter, Somerset; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; brother, George (Maxine) Clark; many nieces and nephews and many friends. Friends may call at the SOUTHWICK-GOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3100 N. HIGH ST., Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where funeral will be held Tuesday 1 p.m. Interment Union Cemetery.
