Charles Mark Van Meter

Charles Mark Van Meter Sr., age 67, born 11/9/31, passed away 10/8/99 at Palm Gardens Vero Beach, Fla. Formerly of Columbus-Westerville, Oh. A retired railroad worker and veteran of Korean War. Preceded in death by parents James Alfred and Velma M. Van Meter, beloved wife Mary Jane (Stevens), grandson Jason Ray McKeegan, 7 brothers and sister James Robert, Geneva Francis (Pierson), Mary Helen, Paul Leroy, Velma Mae (Jones), Carl Marvin, William (Bill) Arnold. Survived by wife of 10 years, Teri (Parker); step-daughters, Denise and Kim (Tori); sister, Pauline Angela (Don) Byerly; and his 7 children, Paula Rider, Charles Mark Jr. (Ruby) Van Meter, Sheilah Kay (Ramone) Montoya, Paul Harvey (Tami) McKeegan, Marsha (Larry) Hird, Paul Michael Van Meter, David Troy (Caron) Van Meter; 16 grandchildren, including the outstanding Troy David Van Meter; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial Service Saturday, October 16, 4:30 p.m. at NorthGate Community Church, 7097 E. State Route 37, Sunbury, Oh. 43074, 740-362-GATE, 1 exit north of Polaris on I-71, turn left (West) at Route 36/37, quarter mile on right.
