VanMeter, Clyde Hubert, 87, of Pinellas Park, died Thursday (July 6, 2000) at Arbors at London Nursing Home, London, Ohio. Born in Illinois, he later moved to St. Petersburg, where he was the owner of a trucking company until his retirement 13 years ago. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, St. Petersburg. Survivors include a son, Dale, Inverness; a daughter, Beverly Houston, London, Ohio; a brother, Eldon, Tampa; two sisters, Evelyn Scanlon, Rockfall, Conn., and Pat Liggett, Pensacola;ninegrandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Royal Palm Funeral Chapel & Cemetery North, St. Petersburg.
