Dale Stewart Van Meter
Dale Stewart Van Meter, 40, died peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1998, in the
company of his loving and devoted wife, Donna Clark Van Meter.
Other survivors include his cherished and much-loved son, August; mother, Doris
E. Van Meter; brothers, Bruce and Jeffrey Van Meter of Chicago; uncles, Clifford
W. (Judith) Van Meter of Grand Haven, Mich. and Donald Andersen of Clifton Park,
N.Y.; in-laws, Joseph and Carol Clark of Cherokee Village, Ark., Paul (Laurine)
Clark of Arlington Heights and Jeanne (Mark) Clark Nelson of Northfield; and
many cousins, nephews, nieces and dear and devoted friends and business
associates.
A 1981 graduate of Northern Illinois University with a BA in economics, Dale was
employed these past years with AMP, Inc., of Harrisburg, Pa.
"...Love is not love, which alters when its alteration finds or bends with the
remover to remove. Oh no... 'tis an ever fixed mark that looks on tempests and
is never shaken..."
We will miss you, 'Pop,' with all our heart.
In accordance with Dale's wishes, there will not be a memorial service.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
