Elizabeth VanMeter-Murad

Former North Syracuse resident Elizabeth Ann VanMeter-Murad, 27, died Tuesday in Dallas, Texas.

A native of North Syracuse, Mrs. VanMeter-Murad lived in Dallas five years. She was a graduate of North Syracuse High School and served three years in the Army.

Surviving are her husband, Marwan; her parents, Lloyd and Martha VanMeter of North Syracuse; five brothers, James and Daniel, both of North Syracuse, William and Richard, both of Dallas, and Robert of New Orleans; and a sister, Laura VanMeter of North Syracuse.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sears-Middleton Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
