George H. VanMeter

GEORGE H. VANMETER, 60, of Mason, husband of Virginia M. "Ginger" VanMeter, died Thursday in Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was a coal miner. Also surviving are three daughters, Britta K. Connolly of Mason, GeorgeinaRoach of Hartford, Jenny R. Greene of New Haven four brothers, Winfield R., John L., and Jackie L. VanMeter of Mason and James E. VanMeter of Boston, Mass. and three sisters, Eva G. Gibbs of Mason, Flora M. Brewster of Logan and Rosalie Roush of Mason. Funeral 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Foglesong Funeral Home burial in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. todayat Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason.
