Hazel L. VanMeter

79, of Stuart, Florida, died Saturday, November 4, 1995 at home. Originally from Bridgeport, Ill., Mrs. VanMeter attended 1st United Methodist Church in Stuart. She moved to Florida in 1953 from Illinois and was a long time resident of Palm Beach and Martin County. Mrs. VanMeter moved to Stuart in 1983.

Survived by sons Kenneth R. VanMeter, Phoenix, Ariz., Keith E. VanMeter of Boca Raton; brothers John McCullough of Okeechobee, Fla., Clyde McCullough of Bridgeport, Ill.; sisters Marie McCullough, West Palm Beach, Fla., Loma McAdams, Stuart, Fla.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7 at FOREST HILLS FUNERAL HOME in Palm City with Dr. Auburn Hagin of the 1st United Methodist Church, Stuart, officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in West Palm Beach. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Martin Memorial Medical Center Foundation, P.O. Box 9010, Stuart, FL 34995-9010. Forest Hills Funeral Home will handle all arrangements.
