Jacque L. Van Metre

SANDWICH - Jacque L. Van Metre, 48, formerly of Wareham, died Saturday at Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, after an illness.
Ms. Van Metre was born in Lynwood, Calif., and lived in Anaheim, Calif., for many years. She graduated from Loara High School in Anaheim, Calif., and Curry College in Milton.
She was a medical coder at Cape Cod Hospital and a medical terminology instructor at Cape Cod Community College. She moved to Sandwich from Wareham in 2000.
She enjoyed antiquing and was a member of Massachusetts Teachers Association.
Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany R. Van Metre of Sandwich; her father, James H. Van Metre of Garden Grove, Calif.; and a sister, Judith Erickson of Garden Grove, Calif.
A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Church, High Street, Wareham, followed by burial in Center Cemetery, Wareham.
