Kay C. VanMeter KAY C. VANMETER, 61, of Bridgeton, died Wednesday at home. Mrs. VanMeter was a secretary at the Hopewell Crest School for more than 16 years. She was a member of the PTA and Education Association. She was a vocalist with the Sweet Adelines, the Hopefuls group and the Osborns Plus group. Mrs. VanMeter was a member of Cohansey Baptist Church and sang with several choirs. She was a volunteer at South Jersey Hospital-Bridgeton and was a treasurer of the Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. VanMeter was born in Bridgeton. She is survived by her husband, George H. Jr.; four sons, David W. of High Point, N.C., Gary L. Sr. of Hopewell Township and Donald A. and Douglas G., both of Stow Creek Township; her mother, Gertrude Bowen of Bridgeton; and four grandchildren. Services will be held at noon Monday at the Cohansey Baptist Church, Roadstown Road, Bridgeton. Burial will be in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell.
