Nellie Van Meter

LANCASTER - Nellie Van Meter, a homemaker, died Friday at a Duncanville hospital. She was 71.

Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Hugh M. Moore & Sons Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial will be in Moore Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Van Meter was born in Dallas and was a lifelong resident of the area.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Survivors: Husband, John Van Meter of Lancaster; three daughters, Dorothy Ward of Dallas, Jo Murrell of Euless and Linda Frailicks of College Station; brother, James C. Seay of Dallas; two sisters, Lolita Van Meter of Waco and Helen Sutton of Cooper; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
