Susan Diane VanMeter, 54, of Orange, TX died Monday, March 25, 2002 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. Funeral will be Thursday, March 28, 2002 at 4 pm at Dorman Funeral Home. The Reverend Gerald Ratcliff, pastor of Victory Life Full Gospel Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park in Orange. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-9 pm. A native of Refugio, TX, Ms.VanMeter was a longtime resident of Orange. She was an administrative assistant for Duphil, Inc., and had been the longtime owner of Orange Answering Service. She is survived by: her brothers Charles VanMeter of Houston, TX., and John VanMeter of Nederland, TX.; a sister Linda Prewitt of Orange; numerous nieces and nephews; and scores of friends.
